Meet Freya
A talking friend that helps kids grow wiser, kinder, and more confident
Brought to life by AI researchers, character artists, pedagogists, and animators
A personalized Fred Rogers
Zura is the Bluey of the AI generation. With best-in-class art direction and animation, our first character Freya becomes a personalized guide. Like a Fred Rogers for every child, inviting imaginative play, questions, and reflection.
Satisfy curiosity in the moment
Freya will fuel your child's curiosity by giving satisfying, age-appropriate answers in the moment they ask them
Practice social and emotional learning
Freya helps with naming feelings, problem-solving, and empathy. Then invites kids to try, rehearse, and replay.
Co-play with parents
Short "co-parenting" sessions help kids apply skills to real life, building shared language at home.
Not all screen time is created equal
Shows like Mr. Rogers, Sesame Street feel dated now and often lose out to more fast-paced, stimulating content like Cocomelon, TikTok and Roblox raising legitimate concerns about "iPad kids". We are embodying the spirit of those shows into interactive animated characters that can help support academic gains and positively impact life outcomes.
Built for kids, with parents in the loop
Parents may have legitimate concerns around privacy, safety, and attachment. Here’s how Zura approaches them:
No storing of voice data
We do not store raw voice. We use transcripts to have our AI generate appropriate responses to prompts.
Common-sense safety guardrails
Freya avoids sensitive topics like violence. We continuously improve filters and escalation rules for age-appropriate content.
Co-play by design
Parents are encouraged to use Zura alongside their children in short sessions. It complements caregivers with a helpful tool.
More parental controls (coming soon)
We're expanding dashboards for session length, topic preferences, and easy transcript management.
Give your child screen time that's not brainrot
Zura mixes entertainment with natural curiosity so kids practice essential emotional, social, and life skills
